Danell Murdock successfully founded, and helms, Design of Today (DoT), a highly specialized design agency in 1996. She is responsible for directing high-level operational initiatives involving multi-faceted infrastructure design. Danell’s focus is branding, licensing style guides, retail merchandising, trend forecasting, advertising, inspiring partnerships, and building sound, individualized strategies for every project. 

Danell believes in leadership by example; she is highly collaborative and passionate about strong/smart communication and design that fosters emotional connectivity and creative problem-solving with her multidisciplinary team.  She leans on her thirty-five years of experience with DoT, as well as early career placement within West and East Coast design and advertising agencies, setting a precedent for shaping many entertainment, sports, and corporate brands' strategic visions within global pop culture. 

As Chief Creative Officer, I’m most inspired by getting away from the computer and working out project solutions by hand, bringing a more organic, personalized, and human aspect to each initiative. As a self-proclaimed shop-a-holic I find wandering through various retail experiences and different cities is paramount to better seeing future trends and culturally connective inspiration. Inspiration for me is found everywhere and in almost everything.
